REACHING DON BOSCO RENEWAL CENTRE

Don Bosco Renewal Centre is situated in the south of Bangalore. Our house lies 100 metres into Kothanur Road off Bannerghatta Road between Mount St. Joseph and the Holy Spirit School, about 15 Km from the City Railway Station and about 8 Km from the Bangalore Dairy Circle/ Dharmaram College.

From the Bangalore City Station

If you are coming by train, get down at the Bangalore City station and take Bus 365, 365D, from Platform 15 at the City Bus Stand (also known as Majestic) just opposite to the Railway Station. AC Bus 365 will cost you only Rs. 70. It can be taken near the Restaurant side.

There are also pre-paid auto-rickshaws available from the Railway Station and Ola & Uber Taxi services; For pre-paid auto-rikshaws, ask for Loyola School stop (Kalena Agrahara), which is after Meenakshi Temple or Royal Meenakshi Mall on Bannerghatta Road. You can also search in Google Map for Don Bosco Renewal Centre and book Ola or Uber Taxi. After reaching Royal Meenakshi Mall, proceed further to Holy Spirit School or Loyola School. Take the Kothanur Road (on the right) and proceed about 100 metres. You will see our entrance marked “Don Bosco Renewal Centre”. The prepaid auto fare is appr. ₹ 350. Other auto rickshaws may demand 50% more than the meter charge.

Other buses (366, 366B/C/D/E/F, 367A, 370, 371 and 372) – all begin from Kalasipalayam Bus Stand (K.R.Market), not very far from the same City station. These too come down the Bannerghatta Road. Most buses stop at “Loyola School” bus stop which is exactly at the junction of the Mantri Residency - the stop after Meenakshi Temple. Opposite to that is a side-road (Kothanur Road) to the right. On this side road, our gate is the third on the right hand side. You will see the board “DON BOSCO RENEWAL CENTRE.”

From the Dairy Circle

If you are coming from Kerala or Tamil Nadu, your bus will most probably stop at Bangalore Dairy Circle from where you can catch any of the above–mentioned buses, and also Bus 368 which originates from Shivajinagar Bus Stand. From the Dairy Circle you can also get an auto-rickshaw to our place, but some of them may ask you to pay one and a half to two times the fare.

It is important to remember that the landmark on the Bannerghatta road to identify our area is Meenakshi Temple or Royal Meenakshi Mall. Your auto-rickshaw driver should take you right up to our gate, and not let you off at Meenakshi temple.

From the Airport

When you arrive at the airport, take airport bus No. 14 coming directly to Meenakshi Mall, which is only 1 km away from our Centre. You can also take the airport bus No. 12 bound for Bannerghatta Road and get down at Vega City and take bus No. 365 or 366 from there to get off at Loyola School stop.
