DBRC Location
Reaching Don Bosco Renewal Centre
Don Bosco Renewal Centre is situated in the south of Bangalore, on the outskirts of the city. Our house lies on a small side road off Bannerghatta Road between Mount St. Joseph and the Convent of the Holy Spirit after the popular landmark Meenakshi Temple.
From the Bangalore City Station
If you are coming to Bangalore by train, it’s best to get down at the Bangalore City station (the terminus) and take Bus 365, 365D, or 369C from Platform 15 at the City Bus Stand (also known as Majestic) just opposite the Railway Station. There are also pre-paid autorickshaws available from the Railway Station; ask for Meenakshi Temple on Bannerghatta Road. Other buses, viz. 366, 366B/C/D/E/F, 367A, 370, 371 and 372 – all begin from Kalasipalayam Bus Stand (K.R.Market), which is not very far from the same City station. These too come down the Bannerghatta Road.
From the Dairy Circle
If you are coming from Kerala or Tamil Nadu, your bus will most probably stop at Bangalore Dairy Circle where you can catch any of the above–mentioned buses, and also Bus 368 which originates from Shivajinagar Bus Stand. From the Dairy Circle you can also get an auto-rickshaw that should take you right up to our house.
From the Bangalore International Airport
From the airport you may get a pre-paid Taxi. Alternately you could get an airport bus to drop you at Dairy Circle or Jaynagar. From either point you can hail an autorikshaw to our house.
